Prempeh College Alumnus Snr. Prof. Christian Agyare Takes Over As KNUST Vice-Chancellor

Prempeh College extends its warmest congratulations to Snr. Prof. Christian Agyare on his historic appointment as the incoming Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The Governing Council of the University confirmed his appointment for a four-year term, scheduled to begin on August 1, 2026.

Long before achieving global recognition as an outstanding pharmaceutical researcher and serving excellently as the Provost of the College of Health Sciences, Snr. Prof. Agyare walked the halls of Prempeh College [1]. It was here, on the holy grounds of Sofoline, that the foundation of his remarkable academic and leadership journey was built.
